The Information on Drugs and Alcohol (IDA) collection is an extensive resource providing for and improving upon the public's access to health information. It includes over 100,000 abstracts and full text research reports, journal articles, and educational tools focusing on drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, as well as mental health, social marketing, and health communication issues.

The IDA database is indexed with vocabulary from the Alcohol and Other Drug Thesaurus: A Guide to Concepts and Terminology in Substance Abuse and Addiction (AOD Thesaurus), Third Edition.
